I’ve maintained this belief since I first watched it & my belief is renewed with each episode. SB has taken to smacking the couch cushions after an episode & exclaiming, “What a god damned fantastic episode! This show is AMAZING!” Because it is. It’s transcendent. HOW MUCH DID/DO WE WE WANT HER TO SAY YES!? we really really really wanted/want her to say yes. but she was the show’s moral center. she couldn’t tell him.
